For the Garlic Butter:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak:
- Remove the steaks from the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Pat dry with a paper towel, then season both sides with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Rub with olive oil to enhance searing.
- Sear the Steak:
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat for 3-5 minutes.
- Add olive oil, then place the steaks in the pan. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side (medium-rare) or adjust to desired doneness.
- Baste with Garlic Butter:
